Flexible Transaction Structures

Every company faces unique challenges and therefore requires creative financing structures to meet its current and future capital needs. We are primarily an equity investor and will generally structure our investments as a combination of preferred and common stock. We will also consider structuring a portion of our investment in the form of debt.

We are active board members and partners with management teams. While we generally seek controlling ownership positions in our portfolio companies, we will consider minority ownership positions in certain situations.

Fundamental Capital invests for the long term. Prior to making an investment, we reach consensus with other equity holders and management concerning likely exit strategies and timing, and develop a strategic plan that correlates with the agreed upon objectives. We recognize that circumstances change and opportunities arise that can not possibly be anticipated. We embrace these opportunities and adapt our investment horizon accordingly.
